Like any other working day, I stepped out of my house this morning and drove my car slowly out of the driveway. Today was different in a way than yesterday, more soaky and chillier. But that is not all, for what happen next bring out this day as an extraordinary one.
As I was about to enter 235 freeway, the car in front of me just stopped in the middle of the path. Well, I braked to a stop and saw a bunch of cars approaching. There were not only cars in the freeway this morning, but alot of trucks as well. "Why does Thursday have so many trucks?", I wondered. I got into the first lane of the freeway where in front of me were two trucks and behind were also two. As usual, I can feel the sand flinging into my car from the trucks in front of me. I said to myself 'hope there be no big ones.' My windshield got chipped from tiny rocks before, so I really hate it when it happen. I accelerated and eventually passed the trucks.
When I got into K-96, another thing happened to me. A sporty, wrecked looking car drove passed and almost hit me on its way. It came all of a sudden, and I was on the left lane. Everyone else seemed to be going smoothly, and out of no where this guy just zoomed by us. I'm usually scared of crazy drivers like this one. Don't know what his rush, but he just drive scary. He reminded of that one motorcycle I saw back in the spring and summer. He just zoomed by you like some speed racer.
Sometimes traffic just get you mad, but I'm glad nothing bad happen. Plus, Wichita has better traffic than most big cities. Though, I have a feeling one day Wichita will get crowded because the population are growing.
